Angular for web applications
Angular is the successor to AngularJS and a front-end web application framework based on the TypeScript programming language. Besides the maintainer Google, other companies and individuals in the Angular community are involved in the development of the open source software. Since the release of Angular 2 in mid-2016, we have developed several projects with Angular and will continue to rely on this framework in the future, which hardly sets any limits for developers.
What Angular can do
One framework, all platforms
Angular offers the possibility to develop an application and then make it available for different platforms. This means that applications can be created for any purpose, whether on the web, on a mobile phone as a native app or as a desktop application.
Scalable and fast
Whether the application is to be used by a small circle of people or thousands of users simultaneously, Angular is designed from the ground up for scalability and performance.
Modular
The WebApp is divided into smaller components. This enables the parallel development and reuse of components. Extensions can thus be developed safely and quickly and guarantee a good development flow.
Mobile First
With Angular, the mobile application is in the foreground, followed by the optimisation of the desktop version. The finished application then runs in all modern browsers and thus on tablets as well as on the PC / MAC.
Simple routing
Angular offers both component orientation and advanced concepts for routing, such as child and auxiliary routes, sticky routes and lazy loading.
Dynamic loading
Modules are loaded at runtime, so the app remains blazingly fast even with complex programmes. Thanks to progressive WebApp support, the caches of the browsers are also used optimally and enable the offline capability of the app.
